Reasons Why 2018 Batch A Corp Menbers Was Paid 21,600 Instead of 41,000

Initially, rumors have it that 2018 Batch A would be paid 41600 at the end of their service years just the same way the last Batch was treated by National Youth Service Corp (NYSC). But, unfortunately, it wasn't so because of some major reasons.

The Nysc accountant officer just explained that 2018 Batch A won't receive the sum of 41,000 again instead they would be paid the sum of 21,600 due to the fact that they were paid immediately they left camp on April 2018.

The same issue would be applicable to Batch B  stream I and Batch B stream II during their pass out year.

Please Kindly share this information to clear all doubt and questions asked concerning reasons why Batch A corp member were paid 21,600 instead of 41,600.

Note, Nysc has mapped 14th of March as Passing Out Parade  (POP) date for date for Batch A.

INEC might receive Huge disappointment from Corpers on Saturday

INEC might receive Huge disappointment from Corpers on Saturday

Independent national Electoral communion (INEC) might receive a huge disappointment from Corp members this Saturday concerning the Governorship, State National Assembly Election and FCT Area Council on the 9th of March 2019.

It might interest you to know that INEC and NYSC signed a memorandum of understanding that corp members should be involved in an election as INEC staff whereby they will act as the presiding officers and assistant presiding officers.

INEC might receive a huge disappointment base on the fact that up till this moment, copers haven't received any payment from INEC outside the 4500 (training fee) that was paid to them. This is too sad even when many risked their life just to serve their father's land by participating in the election process.

Many corp members have exhibited an attitude of regret following the maltreatment they encounter on the cold hands of INEC during the presidential election.

It was recorded that a certain percentage of corp members who participated during the presidential election was physically abused and assaulted.

Lady defrauds church of N100m in Ogun State

Police in Ogun State have arrested a 39-year old woman, Iwuagwu Onyinyechi, for allegedly defrauding a Christian faith-based organisation to the sum of N100m, under the pretense of assisting the organisation to raise fund for its charity programme.

The police command spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said Onyinyechi’s arrest followed a petition written by a Lagos-based lawyer of the organisation, Godswill Ojakovo, in which he complained that his client was defrauded by the suspect through an act of forgery.

According to Oyeyemi, the suspect claimed to have got a Local Purchase Order (LPO) from a property company and appealed to the organisation to help fund the LPO, consequent upon which a sum of N33.118m was transferred into her bank account.

While the organisation was awaiting the repayment of the loan, the suspect came with another two LPOs she claimed to have got from a Catholic Hospital, Iju and a private school in Ikorodu, Lagos State, upon which another sum of N77m was given to her, after convincing the organisation with relevant documents and proofs to back her claims.

But as soon as the suspect got the last payment in September 2018, she disappeared into thin air and this prompted the organisation to make discreet inquiries about the LPOs she submitted and found out that both of them were forged.

The police got her arrested on January 21, 2019. On interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime.
